Owner | Principal Physiotherapist

Hi, my name is James and I am the Founder and Principal Physiotherapist at Therapy Right. I have been working as a Physiotherapist for over 5 years however my previous degree in psychology and work in community outreach mental health informs my holistic practice.

Within Physiotherapy I have a special interest in working with people living with Neurological conditions. I have extensive experience treating neurological conditions, vertigo and concussion. I have a passion for working with people to improve their walking, balance and functional movement so that they can get back to doing the things that they love most.

Outside of my clinical hours you will find spending time with my young family, mountain biking or playing squash. I am looking forward to working with you to achieve your movement goals!

Hi, I am Katherine, and I am a physiotherapist at Therapy Right. I graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2021 and have been practicing as a registered physiotherapist for over three years. During this time, I have gained extensive experience working with the geriatric population, in hospital inpatient rehabilitation, and in community physiotherapy.

My primary area of interest is in treating neurological conditions, including stroke, dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and balance disorders. I am passionate about helping individuals regain confidence in their mobility, daily activities, and balance, empowering them to achieve their goals and return to or continue engaging in the activities that matter most to them.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the beach, exploring different cuisines, going to the gym, and practicing Pilates. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your full potential in achieving your goals.

Masters of Clinical Rehabilitation

Hi, my name is Brenda and I am privileged to be part of Therapy Right team as a contractor Physiotherapist. 
 
I have been practicing Physiotherapy for over 10 years with extensive experience in musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, aged care related conditions and women’s health physiotherapy with achievements in Bachelors of Physiotherapy and Master of clinical rehabilitation.
I have special interest in neurological and geriatric rehabilitation, enabling  individuals to maintain quality of life and independence.
 
When not working as a Physiotherapist, my interests ​include spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, reading, hiking while I explore nature.
 
I look forward to working with you in this journey of achieving your goals.

Hi, my name is Noah and I’m a physiotherapist at Therapy Right. I’ve recently started at Therapy Right in 2025 and am really excited to work with our clients to help them achieve their goals and get great outcomes. I’ve been a physio for over 5 years and have worked in both musculoskeletal and sports private practice, as well as several years working in the neurological rehab space. I love working with clients with neurological conditions such as brain and spinal cord injuries, stroke and Parkinson’s Disease. I love working with these clients to improve their independence and maximise their capacity to achieve the tasks and activities that are important to them.

Outside of being a physio I love rock climbing, running and generally being outdoors!

Hello! My name is Makayla and I am an Occupational Therapist at Therapy Right. I completed my Bachelor of Health Sciences/Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2021.  Since then I have been worked as an Occupational Therapist rurally in the Murray Mallee regions and at a tertiary hospital specialising in rehabilitaiton. I particularly enjoy working with people  who live with neurological conditions and finding creative ways to help them get back to doing what they enjoy most. 

 

Outside of work I enjoy riding my horses and being outside in nature with my family.

​Hi, my name is Ty, I am a Physiotherapist at Therapy Right. I enjoy working with clients to make a difference, influencing a positive health journey through my physiotherapy work. I have been a physiotherapist for 14 years and have worked across many environments, including hospitals, aged care facilities, clinics, rehabilitation settings, and also as a mobile physiotherapist providing services to patients in their home.

 

I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation where my work can have a huge impact on the clients. I love working with clients to improve their overall functional capacity and specifically enjoy achieving the goals that we set together.

 

When not working as a physiotherapist, I enjoy spending time with my wife, 3 kids, and my border collie, Pat. I love keeping fit and active, by running and ocean swimming, and love my footy, especially my team Collingwood, and  watching horse racing.

Hi, my name is Amy and I am an Occupational Therapist at Therapy Right. I completed my Bachelor of Health Science (Therapy Studies) and Master of Occupational Therapy at Flinders University in 2021. Since then, I’ve been working in community-based private practice, supporting individuals to live more independent and fulfilling lives. I have a particular interest in assistive technology, home modifications, and manual handling, but ultimately I’m passionate about helping people achieve their goals—whatever they may be.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy going for walks with my partner and our border collie, Foley, as well as discovering new restaurants and foodie experiences. I’m looking forward to working alongside you supporting the progression towards your individual goals.

Tawfiq

Hi, my name is Tawfiq and I am an Occupational Therapist at Therapy Right. I started my career as an OT in 2013 and since then I have worked across both paediatrics and adults, with a strong focus on supporting NDIS participants. I have worked as an OT in a variety of settings including schools, clinics, and community support.

 

I am also an Occupational Therapist Driver Assessor (OTDA).

I have a particular interest in working with people with neurological conditions. I enjoy collaborating with families and support teams to help participants achieve their goals and live more independently.

 

When I am not working as an OT, I enjoy exploring new business ventures, spending time with family, and learning about innovative technologies that can improve people’s lives.

Hi, my name is Celeste and I am an Occupational Therapist at Therapy Right. I graduated with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2020 and have been practising as an Occupational Therapist for 5 years, working in both rural and metro settings, in hospitals and within the community. I have extensive experience working with adult neurological populations such as Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, and Dementia , as well as neurodiverse populations such as Autism, ADHD, and Intellectual Disability. I can support individuals with their goals to build functional independence, or with home modifications and assistive technology. I am passionate about helping people overcome challenges and develop practical strategies to engage in the activities that are important to them.

 

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, whipping up baked goods in the kitchen, or throwing clay on my pottery wheel. I am excited to work with you to achieve your goals and improve your everyday life!
