How can Physiotherapy help me?
Physiotherapy can make a real difference in helping you move better, feel stronger, and live more comfortably — all from the convenience of your own home. Our Physiotherapists work one-on-one with you to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall physical function through personalised treatment plans tailored to your needs and goals.
Whether you’re managing pain, recovering from an injury, seeking rehabilitation for a neurological condition, or trying to reduce the risk of falls, our therapists can help with targeted exercise programs, gait retraining, and advice on the right mobility aids. For NDIS participants, we also complete functional assessments, create therapy plans that align with your goals, and provide detailed reports to support ongoing funding and track your progress. It’s all about helping you move with more confidence and get back to doing the things you love.
How is Neurological Physiotherapy different?
Neurological Physiotherapy differs from regular Physiotherapy in that it specifically focuses on the rehabilitation and management of neurological conditions, such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or traumatic brain injuries. Unlike traditional physiotherapy, which generally addresses musculoskeletal injuries or post-surgical recovery, neurological physiotherapy requires a deeper understanding of how the nervous system impacts movement, balance, coordination, and sensory function.
Therapy Right have Physiotherapists with extensive experience within the neurological physiotherapy field and understand the unique challenges that arise from conditions affecting the brain and spinal cord. Treatment plans often involve a combination of manual therapy, targeted exercises and strategies to improve mobility, prevent complications, and enhance overall quality of life.
Therapy Right also has Physiotherapists who are highly experience and trained in treating BPPV and other forms of Vertigo.
As a home visit Allied Health service focussed on neurological conditions, our approach is tailored to the individual’s home environment, ensuring that therapy is as functional and as relevant as possible. This allows our therapists to work closely with people in their natural surroundings, addressing real-life challenges such as navigating stairs, managing household tasks, or adapting to assistive devices. Home visits also provide a more personalised experience, which can be crucial for people with neurological impairments who have difficulty accessing clinical settings. Our therapists can assess the space for any potential hazards and offer recommendations for safety modifications while also empowering people with strategies for independence and daily functional movements, making therapy more practical and sustainable over time.
